This course provides the basic principles, framework and methodology in managing development   projects   of   Information   and   Communication   Technology (ICT) application programs.   It presents various stages of the project life cycle and organizational structure that accompanies the activities within.   Based on industry practice, the roles and functions of a project manager necessary to fulfill his/her identified tasks and objectives are defined in this course elucidating the variety of techniques, processes, and policies that evolves within the project life cycle. It aims to understand the dynamics of corporate culture and decision-making among actors and players as providers and consumers to comprehend and acquire the skill sets needed for a project manager to fulfill its goals. In three (3) days, it covers the successive stages of project life cycle from identification, planning, estimation, initiation, procurement, execution, changes, monitoring, review, up to evaluation.
