This course is designed for senior officers of an enterprise. It is intended for participants to understand that IT Governance is a subset of Corporate Governance and that it provides the direction and control to help ensure that the significant IT investments bring value to the enterprise including moving IT towards its strategic goals, achievement of cost and efficiency benefits in IT performance through the adoption of standard techniques, responsible use of IT resources, implementing best practices in establishing control measures that would allow IT management to operate effectively, and mitigation of key IT risks.
